What to eat at menopause
Here’s the secret to what to eat at menopause 👇
Here’s the low down on why there isn't just ONE right way to eat during the menopause
💩 As our oestrogen levels drop we can have problems with our digestive systems meaning that we don’t all absorb the nutrients in foods the same way - first thing you need to get sorted is your digestive system
💼 We’re all at different parts of our menopause journey
🎢 Years of dieting or cutting out food groups can leave us nutrient deficient - we need to make sure that we’re starting from a point where we have all the key nutrients covered
💊 Illness and medication can leave us just as depleted in key nutrients. As can years of dieting - we need to makes sure that you are optimising the nutrients you need to redress the years of depletions
💤 Not sleeping, craving sweet stuff, burning the candle at both ends and being stressed to death all has us using precious resources that should have been used elsewhere in the body- good sleep routines, balancing energy levels need and reducing stress are all needed so that you get the best out of the foods you eat
😝 We all have different likes, dislikes, cooking abilities and available resources.
We’re all unique and what we eat needs to reflect that.
